Following a members' vote in 2024, the club adopted The One Club Model, with the first committee under this structure formed in 2025. This model unites the men's and women's sections under a single administration, ensuring fairness and equality by guaranteeing that all members’ rights and entitlements are determined by membership category, not gender.

At Ballyheigue Castle Golf Club we hold weekly competitions for members on Sundaya and during the summer months we also have tee times available for the competition on Saturday afternoons.

There are interclub team competitions available for players of all handicap levels such as Country Clubs, Junior Cup, Pierce Purcell, Jimmy Bruen Shield, Dr. Billy O’Sullivan, JB Carr, JB O’Shea Memorial Shield Intermediate Kingdom Challenge Shield, Kerry Shield, Noreen Moore and the Nines of Kerry.
