A presentation of prizes will take place this Sunday night at 9pm in the clubhouse for the Open Weekend prizes and all other prizes for competition so far in 2106. Please attend if you have a prize to collect.

The County Clubs team played Castleross last Saturday in Castleisland winning 6-1. Congrats to Joseph O'Connor who had a hole in one on the 11th hole with a sweetly struck 5 iron. The County Clubs team will now play Castlegregory this Saturday in Castleisland at 3pm.

Out JB Carr team played Ceann Sibeal in Ceann Sibeal on Friday last and lost 3-2. First out were John Pierce and Jamsey McGrath who lost 3&2. Second group was Dan O'Connor and John Joe Fealy who won 4&3. Third group were Ronan Gilooly and Maurice Egan who lost 4&3. Fourth group was John Lohan and John Collins who won 5&3. The final group was Joseph O'Connor and Mike Hayes who lost 3&2. Many thanks to Ceann Sibeal for their hospitality on the day and best of luck to them in the next round.

Our JB Carr team begin the defence of their County title against Ceann Sibeal in Ceann Sibeal next Friday at 3pm.

John and Marian are running a competition for the Masters in Augusta which starts on Thursday. The winner will be the person who picks 5 golfers who will have the lowest combined score at the end of the Masters. More details on the club website.
