A great turn out of 60 players on the day, in great conditions, sun shine but a cold wind.

Nice crowd stayed for the prize giving and enjoyed the Drive in for both Lady Captain Lorraine and Captain John.

Sunday March 12th was a 3 Club 12 Hole Two Man Scramble.

The Captains Drive-In will take place on Thursday March 17th at 10am and will be followed by a mixed scramble. Please have your name in, for the draw of partners, for 9.30am.

The Spring League will begin on Sunday March 27th and will run over 4 Sundays. Teams of 5 players with 3 scores out of 5 to count on each of the 3 qualifying rounds. After 3rd qualifying round the top 4 teams will qualify for the semi-finals which will be played on the morning of April 17th. 1st will play 4th and 2nd will play 3rd. Final will take place in the afternoon. Semi-Finals and Final will consist of 1 Singles Matchplay, 1 Scotch Foursomes Matchplay and 1 Fourball Matchplay. No more than 2 members from the same team can play together during the 3 qualifying rounds. The sheet for entering your team is on the noticeboard in the clubhouse. John and Marian are running a competition for the Masters in Augusta which takes place in April. The winner will be the person who picks 5 golfers who will have the lowest combined score at the end of the Masters. More details on the club website.
