On Sunday March 29th we had a 16 Hole Scotch Foursomes competition.

1st: Francis Darcy & David Linnane (14) 33 pts
2nd: Brendan Kenny & John Slattery (24) 32 pts

Next Sundays competition is a 18 Hole Foursomes competition sponsored by the Hawthorn Pub, Ballyduff and Sean Ogs, Tralee. The timesheet for this competition is available online only. Details on how to book a tee time are available on the club website.

In a change to the fixture list the competition on Sunday April 12th will be a Single Stableford competition and the competition on April 26th will be a Foursomes competition. The online timesheet for Sunday April 12th will open Saturday morning April 4th at 9.00am.

The draw for the Club Singles Matchplay will take place on Sunday April 12th. Entry sheet is available in the clubhouse and the €10 entry fee must be paid when you enter your name. This competition is kindly sponsored by Dermot Dowling.

On Sunday morning the Spring League Semi Finals took place.

In the 1st semi final

In the final, in the afternoon, John Donegan (A) defeated Chris Edge 5&4 in the singles matchplay. Noel Gilbride and John Dineen leveled things by defeating Oliver O'Halloran and Donal Glavin 1up in the Scotch Foursomes. James O'Sullivan and Martin Young won the final for Team H by defeating Padraig Dineen and Padraig 2&1 in the fourball. The spring League was kindly sponsored by John and Marian Barrett.

For those not in the Spring League semi finals there was a 16 Hole Single Stableford competition which was won by David Linnane (24) with a great score of 43 pts.

Next Sunday March 29th is a 16 Hole Scotch Foursomes competition.

During April the Men’s Club will be using Online Timesheets on a trial basis for Sunday competitions. The timesheet for Sunday April 5th will open on the website at 9am next Saturday March 28th. More details on how to book your tee online is available on the website.

The semi finals will take place next Sunday March 22nd at 7.30am. The format will be 1 Singles Matchplay, 1 Scotch Foursomes Matchplay and 1 Fourball Matchplay. Team line-ups need to be handed in to the office by 7.15am. The final will take place 40 minutes after the last game in the semi final finishes. For those that didnt qualify for the Spring League semi-finals there will be an 16 Hole Single stableford competition next Sunday.
