Ballyheigue Castle Golf Club which was opened in 1996. The nine hole golf course in Kerry is situated on mature woodland surrounding the Eighteenth Century castle in Ballyheigue. The course is situated 8 miles from Tralee Golf Club and 10 miles from Ballybunion Golf Club. The castle was built on a phased basis by the Crosbies and subsequently owned by the Leen family, Ballyheigue.
